WHAT TO EXPECT:
Each Shinrin-Yoku experience is unique. Your Shinrin-Yoku journey will take you through a mile or two of forest, meadows and/or marshes. Extreme weather will cancel the journey. Light rain or hot summer days will not. If a journey is cancelled, you may reschedule or request a refund – your choice.
You will journey in either the Hudson Valley or Northern New Jersey. Once you book a journey you will receive a welcome email designed to help us choose a specific location for you to meet up with your guide and any other group members.
Your welcome email will include suggestions for comfortable clothing and ways to prepare for your journey. If there are special circumstances you want your guide to be aware of, please use the short form included in the email to share that information.
PLEASE NOTE THAT NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES WILL BE PERMITTED ON ANY JOURNEY UNLESS THEY ARE COMPLETELY POWERED DOWN.
Remember, Shinrin-Yoku is about unplugging from our wired lives to re-connect to our natural pace and energy.
SMALL GROUP JOURNEYS:
Group journeys are available on Saturdays and Sundays. Cost is $40.00 per person. Click on the calendar to choose an available date.
INDIVIDUAL JOURNEYS:
An individual journey can be arranged for any day of the week. After you sign up, we will coordinate directly with you regarding the guide’s availability and your preferred setting.
A 2-hour journey is just $80.00.
A 4-hour journey is $150.00
